The Affordable Care Act possibly has generated unanticipated reaction among
Americans. Indeed, there are many proponents of this plan and opponents in equal measure.
Nevertheless, the plan was designed to provide enough health insurance for all citizens. In fact, the plan has already begun eliminating the previously high numbers of individuals who were not covered.

Thirdly, the plan will offer enough coverage to reduce high figures of those without
coverage, through elimination of pre-existing conditions. Without a doubt, elimination of pre- existing requirements will mean that Americans will not be denied coverage, denied treatment or
charged more based on their health status (Laszewski, 2014). Simply, high numbers of uninsured
Americans resulted from insurers avoiding sick people since it is expensive. Companies avoided
what they felt was high risk clients and this swelled the number of those uninsured. All in all,
Obamacare overrides such pre-existing conditions to ensure coverage for all.
