Human Resources Effectiveness and P/PC Balance- Paper.
Effectiveness in the human resource entails the attainment of the anticipated outcomes while considering the inputs in the process. For this reason, the production should be significantly high, but in accordance with the vision of an individual (Covey, 50). For instance, an individual will be competent in manufacturing merchandise if they can achieve the forecasted revenues, as this situation will lead to profitability. In my perspective, I believe that effectiveness is increasing the production to reach the optimal level. It involves the exploitation of all available resources so that the process is influential in the financial position of an individual. In this perspective, individuals have to continually focus on the aspect of reducing costs while looking for alternative ways of increasing income. For instance, they may consider the introduction of distinct revenue streams where they utilize every opportunity that they have. Human Resources Effectiveness and P/PC Balance- Paper.

P/PC Balance
The p/pc balance illustrates the equilibrium between the instruments that are used in the production of merchandise versus the outputs of the process. In essence, the individual involved in the procedure should not stretch the resources on the extreme as this could have a negative implication in the end. In reality, there are two perspectives that all people should consider. The aspect of focusing on the short term where the production is high could have negative repercussions in the future since the entrepreneur sacrifices the long-term to achieve the immediate results (Covey, 59). In this context, the outputs will be high in a limited period, but continuity will not be realized. The other perspective is that the minimization of exploitation of the production capacity to continue producing for a long time will affect the short term. For example, producing limited outputs will affect sustainability, and this could lead to massive losses. Thus, there is a need to be between the two extremes where a person enhances effectiveness but also focus on going concern and permanence.
Reactive vs. Proactive
A proactive person has control over a situation since they have a sense of responsibility that they accomplish at all times. As a result, they on their activities, and they formulate initiatives that will create change and make them achieve their goals (Covey, 83). Such individuals exert pressure and are a driving force in an institution in various ways. For instance, they are concerned about the decisions that they make, and they are not coerced by external stimuli to make choices. Human Resources Effectiveness and P/PC Balance- Paper.
On the other hand, a reactive person only makes a decision and initiates a strategy after an external factor affects them. In essence, a problem must occur for them to make changes in an institution. First, as the head of a project, I was forced to reduce the pricing of our products since the consumers were not buying them. The main problem is that the competitors were selling their merchandise at a significantly lower value. The second experience is when I had to expand the market after the products flooded the market leading to high inventory rate. As a proactive person, I should have researched the pricing of the products before placing a specific value on the products (Covey, 83). Covey’s Circle of Concern
Circle of influence
Circle of concern
I believe that I prioritize the circle of influence since I can make changes to the aspects that I control. For instance, I believe that I can manage my project effectively when I research more data on the prevailing market conditions, make projections and ensure that I have mitigation measures against all risks. For example, I decipher that I have to constantly develop new markets and create an increase in the clientele base since this is a strategic offensive plan that I can use to strengthen my business (Covey, 85). The circle of concern that I always experience is when I have to transport my products to the market but the roads are impassable due to the unexpected weather conditions. Additionally, I may have to constantly change the pricing of my products when the government increases the tax levied on them. The other aspect has to introduce new strategies to contain competition especially when a new business incepts its products in the market.
