During this training program, students will have the opportunity to get challenged on various ways of writing essays and mechanisms of responding to various discussion questions posted by instructors. Thematic Integration of Faith and Learning Paper. The efforts played by the students will pay off especially in preparing them for various leadership positions in their professional careers. Coaching in a professional setting tends to be more complicated when compared to other elements because of an array of factors. Some of these factors include personal issues, education, monetary dissatisfaction, job dissatisfaction, among others. This academic field of study is much significant especially to business because it helps in increasing value in the organization; on that note, leaders are obligated to coach their subordinates in the correct formula. Incorrect coaching methods may lead to undesirable organization results.
Coaching itself deems complex to many people. For instance, it takes a mature leader to successfully guide his or her employees to attain their true potential. Research by Underhill, McAnally, and Koriath (2007), reveals that for clear leadership purposes then one must engage coaching. The development of leaders among executives and other leaders are regarded as most helpful in coaching sessions. For that reason, Christians should use playbooks for guiding purposes in conjunction with the assistance of great religious leaders. This playbook is referred to as the Bible. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand” (Isaiah 41:10, NIV). Based on the observation of this passage, the researchers identified that the Lord will give his followers the strength they desire and will enable them to succeed in their tasks through his guidance.
Losch et.al (2016) research findings assert that coaching and group training is effective in helping to reduce procrastination and facilitate the attainment of the set goals. Losch et.al (2016) research identifies that leaders have an opportunity for impacting positively in either individual settings or groups. It will be up to the discretion of the manager to decide on the employees who will benefit more in the methods of coaching. Furthermore, Underhill, McAnally, and Koriath (2007) explain that a person is obligated to look at the company’s culture through three lenses. These lenses included the organizational lens, the team lens, and the individual lens. From the standpoint of the individual lens, one has the opportunity to view coaching as a form of carrying out the intervention. In terms of organization, one may regard coaching as a way of achieving improved performance from the employees. However, the team perspective in contrast to other lenses because it views coaching as a remedial type of practice; When the leaders decide to implement coaching techniques, there are various factors that they must consider. These factors are well explained below.Thematic Integration of Faith and Learning Paper.
Per Schalk and Landeta (2017) suggests that internal coaching tends to be viable especially when there are high trust levels in terms of confidentiality of the entire process; there are an array of processes that are normally carried out; for instance, the hierarchical status of the executives tends not to be greater when compared to various coaches and culture of their organization that regards coaching as an executive responsibility. However, external coaching tends to be the best coaching option for upcoming, startups and small organizations because the top executives and the one-off interventions have a culture that does not promote this kind of practice among its executive members.
In most cases, leaders are challenged with various tasks that entail figuring out the types of coaching that will help them increase their efficiency. The Lord however constantly challenges his followers to go down on the right paths and deter the temptations that cross their paths. Various researchers have found out that it is easier for a leader to pass blames to employees for their subpar performance especially on their points of weaknesses such as lack of effort. But again one can discover that the employees might have never received enough or adequate training or other factors be involved. “Likewise, ye who is younger, it is significantly important for you to respect your seniors. Yea, it is also important for you to respect each other, and be lessened with meekness; for the Lord dislikes the proud, and gives grace to those who are humble” (1 Peter 5: 5, NIV).
According to Grover and Furnham (2016), they explain that business coaching can be regarded as a term that is overarching as it refers to any person within the organization that receives coaching to help him or her improve the performance. In most cases, executive coaching is more important especially when the coach is involved; it usually involves an executive or individual from the senior management team. These two coaching techniques are mostly applied in different aspects, but mainly depend on the type of goal one is trying to accomplish. When an individual or group gets involved in ibn executive coaching, it is exclusively the effort of the senior management team to approve the individual’s level of performance. The book of Matthew 25:21, NIV, states that “the Lord whispered unto him, a good job is done, however blameless and true servant: thou has to be faithful in many things, I will make them be the ruler over various things to enter the lord’s kingdom.” Exercise coaching both religiously and in business entails following the set instructions of the leader to meet the set goal or exceed the goal objectives. The trainee in both realms is usually challenged to change their way of thinking, methods among others so that they can be able to please the goals set by the coach for them.Thematic Integration of Faith and Learning Paper.
Although there are many positive aspects of coaching, many negative aspects are also detected. According to Per Berglas (2014), “regarding when the executive’s problems stop from being unnoticed or disregarded mental complications, coaching can make a bad situation to become worse.” When the executive lacks adequate psychological training, it tends to lead to many coaching situations to turn into failures. Unfortunately, once the damage gets done to an individual, it makes it even harder to gets them back to the correct path of thinking and completing their respective task. According to Thach (2002), their study suggests combining multi-rater feedback and individual coaching helps in increasing the effectiveness of leadership to up to 65% based on various reports and peer post-survey feedback. The study above gives a vivid study that coaching can be very effective if conducted correctly especially when the leaders implement the most beneficial form of coaching technique.

The students in BUSI 755 have the obligation of explaining why some specific strategies of coaching were selected to best suit the organization. It is significantly important for one to have a deeper understanding of why the strategy was selected especially in the event where the upper management team wants to know and understand the rationales behind the decisions made. Based on research by Per Marchisotti, Domingos, and Almeida (2018), rational processes of decision-making need to give room to creative and intuitive jumps. The second is a process of immediate decision, unconscious and focused on the whole while the first is detailing, conscious, analyzing, and synthesizing. On that note, one must be able to understand that when rational thinking is important, it also gives room for intuitive coaching methods. The immediate decisions made tend to have an array of advantages that contributes positively towards making a positive change immediately in an organization or company. However, the changes associated with immediate coaching are usually not well thought out which might end up leaving some simple mistakes that could have been prohibited in a better pre-planned method.
Additionally, the future organizational leaders that are partaking in BUSI 755 are obligated to formulating a relevant data summary from various applications of coaching skills while incorporating their skills and individual capabilities. The coaching skills attained in this course equips the students with the ability to summarize quantitatively and qualitatively their research findings. According to Losch et al. (2016), coaches can provide intellectual stimulation by encouraging their coachees to put into consideration various issues that involve new perspectives. By doing so, they end up challenging the coaching ideas and assumptions. Finally, coaches have the opportunity of providing inspirational motivation through helping their coachees in creating the best optimistic vision for their better future.
Not only do coaches get expected to give direction to their employees on various ways of conducting themselves in the desired manner, but they are also projected to help them in the motivation processes. The motivated employees end up becoming more engaged and keep their quality of work in the organization to be of a higher standard. Lastly, the students should have the ability to integrate a biblical worldview and different course materials within their context of executive organizational coaching. Additionally, Christian business leaders are supposed to adapt their religious beliefs in business to help them multiply and increase their organizational success. “The Lord has filled them with the ability of conducting various types of work that are done by an engraver or by a stylish or by an embroiderer in both blue, purple and scarlet tales and linen that are fine twined or by a weaver who is any sort of workman or experienced designer” (Exodus 35: 35, NIV). Human beings have been awarded various talents to do some sort of work such as craftsmanship. The student in BUSI 755 should complete his or her coursework and discover what they best excel at for their educational and professional endeavors.Thematic Integration of Faith and Learning Paper.
Gods Purpose for Business On Earth
The lord has good plans for his followers in this world and as his followers, we have the task of making sure we help in assisting him in completing his set plan. Coaching is regarded as the best way of discovering ways to connect with other individuals in different parts of the world. In business, coaching is applied as a method of helping people grow to become better Christians and turn their life far from the bondage of sins. The book of 1 Samuel 12:24. NIV asserts that “But be rest assured to have the fear of the LORD and attend to him devotedly with all your heart; and one should consider the great things that the Lord has done.” So when Christians serve the living God faithfully, they will receive more blessings than they could ever have wished. For it takes a faithful and humble servant to accomplish the above-mentioned tasks in their entirety.
For employees to get encouraged on taking pride in their respective work, a good leader must have the mindset that is quality driven. Based on research by Keller et al. (2012), “but even on the times when an individual is well satisfied with the quality of his or her work, he or she may be as well get bitterly disappointed by the type of results obtained. In some cases, one might end up finding the circumstances conspiring to neutralize the real impact of the project.”When the behaviors of various groups and individuals don’t meet the expectations of the company, the leader has the chance of rectifying the issue. When the leaders counsel and coaches the employees on the sectors that need to be improved in the future, it ends up driving a continuous improvement process. The Lord expects Christians to have a continuous improvement process towards fully knowing and getting closer to the Lord and His good messages. When Christians decide to drive the improvement process not only in their career but also in their journey of Christianity, a lot of blessings and lessons will be transparent in their entire lives. In the text by Keller and Alsdorf (2012), there are a lot of great and important points that are made to illustrate how leaders should become better Christians and coaches. Furthermore, business leaders must always put in mind that it is vital to help their employees thought out their whole journey. As it is in the book of Philippians 4:13, NIV, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.”
Conclusion
